About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and creative Design and Technology Teacher to join our dynamic department. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons, fostering a love of design and technology, and preparing students for success in their future endeavours.
Key Responsibilities:

Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging Design and Technology lessons

Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback

Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

Supporting students in developing their design and technological skills

Contributing to the overall development of the Design and Technology department

Essential Criteria:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Strong subject knowledge in Design and Technology

Excellent classroom management and communication skills

Ability to inspire and motivate students

Commitment to professional development

Desirable Criteria:

Experience teaching Design and Technology at KS3 and KS4

Expertise in a specific design and technology specialism (e.g., Resistant Materials, Product Design, Food Technology)

Experience with CAD/CAM software
