We are seeking a hands-on DevOps Engineer (Medior/Senior) with solid experience and expertise in operational engineering and IT systems management.
Role OverviewThe primary focus of this role is maintaining and optimizing our systems. Strong familiarity with ITIL processes (such as incident/problem management, change, and configuration management) is crucial. You should be adept at assessing risks, prioritizing critical issues, and ensuring a controlled, high-quality application change process, including change and release management.
We work in an Agile environment, and experience with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Lean, as well as a mindset of continuous improvement, is essential. You'll contribute to our ambition of radical automation by focusing on CI/CD processes and automating tasks within the team. Additionally, you will oversee activities related to automated testing, environment coordination, and life cycle management.
Proficiency with tools like Azure DevOps, Service Manager, and Authorization Request systems is required.
Key Responsibilities- Operations engineering and .NET application development, including SaaS application configuration.
- Implementing and maintaining security measures.
- Managing change requests, collaborating with infrastructure teams for execution.
- Incident handling and proactive monitoring of IT systems.
- Managing functional mailboxes and taking appropriate actions.
- Reviewing vulnerability reports and executing corrective measures.
- Updating the CMDB (Configuration Management Database) and supporting improvement initiatives.
- Submitting hardware requests via Infrashop.
- Conducting account recertification processes.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written).
- Continuity-focused mindset, particularly in incident and problem management for complex IT chains.
- Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, Lean, and ITIL methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with:
- GIT, Azure DevOps, Service Manager.
- CI/CD pipelines, release management, and deployment processes.
- C# (preferably .NET 4 or higher), Oracle, and MS SQL Server (Integration Services & Reporting Services).
- ASP.NET and MVC Framework.
- A commitment to continuous improvement, flexibility, and ownership.
- Ability to assess risks, identify critical priorities, and manage controlled application changes.
- Experience in automated testing, environment coordination, and life cycle management.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Knowledge of Windows Server 2012 or higher, Linux, Active Directory, and web services.
- Familiarity with finance and risk domains, including regulatory requirements, hedge accounting, and financial risk management.
