Electrical Contracts Manager

Orion Group are working with a leading M&E Contractor to source an Electrical Contract Manager to add to their Highland Based Team.

This is an exciting time to join our client's business, as they are experiencing a period of growth and have a healthy pipeline of high-profile projects. The successful applicant will play a crucial role in supporting the senior management team in delivering these commitments.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee large electrical projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion within budget.
• Manage project teams, including subcontractors and suppliers.
• Plan and schedule project tasks to ensure effective resource allocation.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, tracking expenses closely.
• Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders, providing updates on project progress and addressing concerns.
• Ensure projects comply with relevant regulations and safety standards.
• Conduct site visits and inspections as required.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience Project managing large-scale electrical projects.
• Relevant Degree or Qualification in Electrical Engineering or Previous Trade Experience.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent budget management and resource allocation abilities.
• Proven experience of leading & motivating project Teams.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Comprehensive knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards.
