We're searching for a dynamic General Manager to join our team at the Victoria Stakes, Muswell Hill, where locals love to gather for great food, friendly atmosphere, and memorable events.

We pride ourselves on offering delicious, seasonal food, a warm and welcoming environment, and hosting everything from local gatherings to large-scale events, including weddings and private functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and inspire a passionate team to deliver excellent customer service.
  2. Manage daily operations, ensuring high standards in food quality, service, and ambiance.
  3. Drive sales by growing our events and wedding business, utilizing your creativity and organizational skills.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with our loyal local clientele while attracting new customers.
  5. Maintain strong financial controls, overseeing budgets, stock, and payroll to meet targets.

What We're Looking For:

  1. Proven experience in a management role within hospitality, ideally in a gastro pub or event-focused venue.
  2. Strong leadership and communication skills, with a hands-on approach.
  3. A passion for delivering exceptional food and memorable experiences.
  4. Experience managing events, weddings, or private functions is a huge plus.
  5. A positive, community-focused attitude and the ability to create a welcoming environment.
