Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee operations for a prestigious law firm in London. This exciting role focuses on the management of high-profile dinners, corporate events, daily staff dining and ensuring the seamless execution of events for clients and guests.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences, superior organisational skills, and a proven track record in managing large-scale businesses and hospitality services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the planning and delivery of all operations within the catering operation at site.
  2. Coordinate with the hospitality manager on all aspects of hospitality and event management, including catering, staffing, and logistics.
  3. Ensure the venue provides consistent, high-quality service for clients, corporate events, and exclusive functions.
  4. Manage venue operations, including setup, food and beverage service, and guest relations.
  5. Liaise with clients to understand event requirements and tailor services to meet their expectations.
  6. Monitor catering budgets, ensuring cost control.
  7. Oversee and motivate the whole team, ensuring staff training and development.
  8. Manage guest feedback and address any issues with professionalism and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in catering management, ideally with large-scale business and industry sites and corporate functions.
  2. Excellent organisational and leadership skills with a keen eye for detail.
  3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with high-profile clients and team members.
  4. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Expertise in event logistics.
  6. Knowledge of the London hospitality and events market (preferred).
