Group HR has been recently established as a division within the Munich Re Group responsible for driving the strategic group-wide HR Agenda. Group HR will generate strategic impulses for HR work on Group level as well as for each of our business fields. It facilitates Strategy Committee (StratC) decisions on groupwide HR priorities and orchestrates business fields activities along those priorities. By providing data-based HR intelligence, Group HR will facilitate informed discussions and enable data-driven decision making.
We are looking for a Head of Department to lead the Data Analytics & Reporting department which will provide HR intelligence on the workforce across the Group. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a newly established division, build a team and drive the development of the groupwide HR Data Analytics environment.
YOUR JOB
- Build, lead and develop a team of experts in the data analytics and reporting HR environment of the Munich RE Group
- Provide HR intelligence for the group
- Develop analytical bases to generate impulses for strategic HR work and enable data-based decision making and steering
- Provide harmonized data definitions and reporting standards
- Address board-level reporting and analytics needs
- Facilitate learnings from HR group priorities
- Contribute to a success-oriented, accountable and collaborative environment within the groupwide HR community
YOUR PROFILE
- University degree, preferably in business, mathematics or information technology
- Proven strong leadership skills and experience in a data analytics and reporting environment
- Proven track record to conceptualize, implement and continuously enhance a data analytics environment
- Widespread expertise on modern data and analytics technology and tools
- Solid understanding of HR business processes and data
- Excellent social skills combined with the ability to think and work in a Group-wide network
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Very good English skills; German skills are a bonus
