Job Description

  • Overseeing the financial operations and budgeting procedures of the organisation.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant financial legislation and regulations.
  • Providing strategic financial planning and guidance to the executive team.
  • Preparing and presenting financial reports and updates to stakeholders.
  • Managing the accounting and finance team, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Identifying potential financial risks and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborating with external auditors and managing the audit process.
  • Supporting the development of financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Interim Director of Finance should have:

  • A professional qualification in finance or accounting.
  • Experience in a leadership role within a finance or accounting department.
  • Knowledge of financial legislation and regulations relevant to the not-for-profit sector.
  • Strong strategic planning and financial analysis skills.
