We supply our customers with district heating, cooling and process steam. Our focus is on decentralized combined heat and power projects and the development and operation of wind, solar, hydropower and biomass plants. Sounds exciting? Then come and join us.

In order to protect our power plant operations from IT attacks on our critical infrastructure and thus ensure the security of supply for the people in our region, we would like to strengthen our team with an IT security expert (m w d) as soon as possible.

design

These exciting tasks await

• You are the central point of contact for the IT security of our power plants, implement legal requirements of the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) and initiate all necessary measures to ward off external attacks on our critical infrastructure and prevent future threats.
• You manage all necessary activities such as the replacement of vulnerable and threatening components of our power plant machines and systems as well as ensuring IT requirements are met for external IP attacks.
• You will work closely with the BSI and our parent company EON to create and implement IT security concepts that meet the highest standards.
• You create regular security reports and inform the management about security risks
• You advise and sensitize the managers and employees of envia Therm on all information security issues and potential threats.

A profile that inspires us

• You have successfully completed a degree in information technology, engineering or a comparable field.
• Your passion and in-depth expert knowledge of IT security concepts to protect a critical IT infrastructure from external attacks.
• You enjoy working conceptually and analytically and are the interface to our internal and external partners
• You are able to explain complex issues and concepts in an understandable way and are happy to provide advice.
