What you can expect- Managing the day-to-day operations of the Service Desk team to ensure efficient resolution of customer queries and technical issues.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the Service Desk.
- Promote strong and continuous communication with local management, with regular comprehensive updates on all IT related matters
- Perform IT Business Relationship Management (BRM) tasks in collaboration with the respective business partners
- Close cooperation with the works council and the HR and legal departments
- At least 5 years' experience in a service desk or technical support role, including at least 3 years in a management position in a multinational company
- Strong understanding of IT support processes and ITSM software
- Profound leadership and people management skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and corresponding organizational skills
- Experience in managing budgets and IT resources
- Knowledge of current products, standards, technologies and methods
- Certification in ITIL with an accompanying understanding of IT service management
- Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
