At Eni, we are looking for an Oil Products Analyst within Eni Trade & Biofuels (ETB) in London, UK. You will be providing in-depth analysis and forecasts related to the global oil markets, focusing on refining economics, supply-demand balances, and market trends, specifically related to the Light Ends. This role requires a deep understanding the oil industry, with a specific focus on refining operations, in addition to geopolitical influences, regulatory changes, and economic factors affecting the sector. The analyst will support decision-making for internal stakeholders, including trading, upstream, and strategic planning teams.
This role offers you direct exposure to the entire commodity trading lifecycle - both physical and financial - through close collaboration with our Front Office, Risk functions, Finance, Back Office, and multiple business units.

As a member of the ETB, you will be responsible for:
- Synthesize cross-regional and cross-product fundamental themes, with a particular focus on the Light Ends (LPG, Naphtha, Gasoline).
- Design, implementation and improvements to analytical tools and models to aid the real time understanding of complex market dynamics, challenging and validating modelling approaches via back-testing and research studies.
- Propose and support IT/software improvements to enhance the quality and efficiency of analysis.
- Maintain and update global energy statistics, refining product balances, and future demand/supply forecasts.
- Prepare reports and presentations for management, advising on crude/refined product profitability to support trading and upstream operations.
