We're looking for a People Operations Partner to be responsible for the efficient and effective administration of HR operational activities within the local office. In this role, you will support various HR functions, including management of the administrative tasks associated with the employee lifecycle, employee records management, benefits administration, compliance with local labor laws, business travel arrangements, ESG reporting, and many more. Your new adventure:
  • Completion of all employee lifecycle tasks, including handling HR queries, issuing documentation, updating the HRIS, onboarding/offboarding, conducting HR inductions, and fostering a positive, inclusive work environment.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in HR databases and drives, ensuring confidentiality and security, handling data changes, terminations, and archiving while ensuring compliance with record management, security, and GDPR regulations.
  • Administer employee benefits programs ensuring appropriate onboarding and offboarding, act as a point of contact for employees regarding benefits questions.
  • Manage employee business travel, including flights, hotels, visas, and ensuring cost efficiency and policy compliance, handle travel orders, reimbursements, maintain contracts, and collect ESG data.
  • Assistance with employee relations matters such as mutual agreements providing guidance on best practice and management of required documentation, being the go-to person for legal queries within Germany providing the required support and guidance.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies; assist in developing HR policies; and prepare and submit reports to government agencies.
  • Participate in HR projects to improve processes and employee experience, assist with fact-finding, analyze data, and provide best practice advice.
  • Assist with globally aligned processes such as probation survey launches, International SOS reporting.
  • Ensure all Tier 0 content remains accurate and up to date by continuously monitoring trends to ensure it is fit for purpose, and taking ownership of the management of audit requirements and follow-up actions.
  • Office tasks like distribution of mail received in the local office to appropriate departments for action.
Does this sound like you?
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in both English and German languages
  • Understanding of local labor laws and employment regulations
  • Proven track record in managing employee lifecycle tasks, including onboarding/offboarding, HRIS updates, and handling HR queries
  • Familiarity with employee benefits administration and compliance
  • The ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and in line with GDPR requirements and data privacy regulations
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to foster a positive and inclusive employee experience throughout the organization
  • Solid organizational skills with extreme attention to detail
  • Capability of providing guidance on best practices in employee experience and process improvement
