Job Description
PMA is a full-service production company working with the world's biggest movie studios and entertainment brands. We are a multidisciplinary team supplying a vast array of production services and producing creative content, video advertising, and promos in many and varied formats for clients.
The chosen candidate will be an integral part of the London-based press junket and social content team and be active in the organisation and implementation of publicity junkets and social content shoots and edits.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Liaising with clients regarding the booking of a junket
- Attending meetings and recces
- Overseeing the organisation, scheduling, and running of a junket
- Becoming familiar with the kit and tech needed for the smooth running of a shoot
- Becoming familiar with regular freelancers and suppliers and book them when needed
- Producing or attending special events (e.g., screenings, premieres, Q&As, watching edits)
- Overseeing edits and final delivery of footage
- Being willing and open to work out of hours when the job demands
- Other appropriate duties as outlined by the line manager
- Fulfilling the role of lead junket producer on site
- Managing budgets and liaising with the production manager to create quotes for clients
- Knowledge of technical terms for kit and equipment, and filming formats
- Training and developing skills on software, such as Photoshop and Premiere Pro
- Some experience working in a similar or complementary role, preferably events/production-based
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail, able to problem-solve effectively
- Able to work across more than one project at a time
- Able to work collaboratively
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- An innate aesthetic awareness and an ability to make visual judgements
- A calm and reassuring demeanour, and a positive attitude, especially when under pressure
- Strong interest in film and television
- Strong Word & Excel skills, plus knowledge of Zoom and Google Sheets
- Salary of £40K+ p/a, according to experience, on a rolling three-month contract beginning with a three-month probation period. It is assumed the position will end after 1 year when the permanent employee returns to work.
