Principal Ecological Consultant
As a Principal Ecological Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert guidance and support to clients on ecological and environmental matters. You will utilize your extensive knowledge and experience to assess, manage, and mitigate environmental risks, ensuring compliance with regulations and fostering sustainable practices. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and strong communication abilities to deliver effective solutions tailored to clients' needs. The role is performed both in an office and field environment and is likely to involve nationwide travel.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The role of Principal Ecologist Consultant is to:
• To actively shape the Verde offering and the future of Ecological consultancy in the company.
• You will engage in business development activities that will include collaborating with Verde
Senior Management to establish target clients from our existing portfolio and to identify new potential target clients.
• Acting as a lead consultant for client Ecological services.
• Develop training courses on Sustainability to be delivered both internally and to target clients.
• Recruit and mentor a team of consultants to deliver Ecological consultancy services.
• Prepare technical reports for companies, environmental agencies and government bodies.
• Liaising with consultants and sub-contractors and various third-party contributors to projects.
• Project manage projects in accordance with H&S and budgetary requirements.
• Contribution to other projects or duties as may be required.
Normal Working Hours: 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday (60 minutes for lunch)
