Location: London, UK - Hybrid

Role type: Fixed Term Contract(6months +)

Job Description:

As a Senior Sitecore Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of web application using the Sitecore Experience Platform. You will work closely with project managers, UX/UI designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client requirements. Your expertise in Sitecore and .NET will be crucial in driving the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Development: Lead the development of complex Sitecore-based applications, including site architecture, custom components, and integration with third-party systems.
• Sitecore Implementation: Implement Sitecore CMS and related technologies, ensuring adherence to best practices and development standards.
• Customization & Integration: Customize and extend Sitecore features, integrating with external systems and databases as needed.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement features.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize web application for performance, scalability, and security, ensuring it meets the highest standards.
• Code Review & Mentorship: Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, providing support for existing application and ensuring minimal downtime.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of the development process, including design specifications, code comments, and user guides.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 9+ years of hands-on experience with Sitecore CMS, including experience with Sitecore 9 or later versions.

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and related technologies.
• Experience with Front End technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Vue.js framework.
• Knowledge of Sitecore Helix architecture principles and Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS and experience deploying Sitecore in cloud environments.
• Database Management: Experience with SQL Server, including database design and optimization.
• Content Management: Deep understanding of Sitecore's content management capabilities, personalization, and marketing automation features.
• Version Control: Proficiency in version control systems with Git.
• Responsible for overseeing automated build processes.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently when required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Sitecore Certification (Developer/Professional/Advanced Developer).
• Experience with Sitecore Experience Commerce (XC).
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile development environments
