Sourcing & Vendor Management Specialist

Our client, a Swiss Financial Services organization, is seeking a German Speaking Sourcing & Vendor Management Specialist.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure vendor governance through clear definition of roles and responsibilities
• Continuous monitoring of supplier performance as well as active risk management and preparation of exit strategies for critical suppliers
• Negotiate, renew and manage contracts
• Ensure cost transparency and various management reports with precision. If required, take on routine tasks in purchasing (P2P)
• Carry out tenders, needs assessments and contract conclusions efficiently and in close cooperation with representatives from various departments

Requirements:

• German speaking
• Proven experience in strategic/tactical purchasing (S2C) in the financial services or IT environment
• Experience in IT service management (eg ITIL) and contract management
• Experience with MS Dynamics or other P2P environments and are familiar with MS Office applications (eg for Spend Analytics: Power BI)
