Job Description

Are you a strategy consultant looking to make an impact in a fast-growing health tech company? Join Second Nature as our Strategy & Operations Specialist and play a key role in shaping the future of obesity and type 2 diabetes treatment. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will lead high-impact projects that address complex business challenges. From designing and implementing operational processes to supporting the business development team with bid writing and financial modelling of services. This role is ideal for an ambitious consultant looking to drive impact in a dynamic, mission-driven organisation.

What You'll Do

What's exciting about this role is that you will be tasked with working on a wide range of problems that need solving across the business, meaning your focus will regularly change to support business needs. Some of the key areas you'll be focused on initially:

  • Drive Strategic Projects: Lead cross-functional initiatives, including the implementation and operational delivery of high-priority projects such as the rollout of new services.
  • Support Business Development (BD):
    • Bid Writing: Support the Business Development team with writing submissions as part of public tender opportunities.
    • Conduct Complex Modelling: Support financial and operational modelling for bids, ensuring thorough and accurate commercial proposals.
  • Embed Organisational-Wide Processes: Design and implement policies and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as the CQC and NHS data security and privacy frameworks.
  • Innovate and Problem-Solve: Work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer to identify and solve big strategic challenges as and when they come up.

Experience:

Essential:

  • 2+ years of experience at a top-tier consultancy.
  • Demonstrable experience applying the skills outlined above in a professional setting.

Desirable:

  • You have experience in health tech or a related field.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as CQC, GDPR and NHS standards.
