2nd Line Engineer (Contract)

Our Client is looking for a 2nd Line Engineer to perform problem determination and resolution support.

Location: London
IR35 Status: Inside

Profile:

• Proactively research problems and solutions, documenting findings for the benefit of customers and colleagues.
• Communicate effectively on complex issues to meet business and customer requirements.
• Manage incidents routed from First Level analysts and resolve within the limits of knowledge and contract.
• Maintain technical knowledge and expertise associated with applications specific to individual customers, including regular maintenance of Knowledge Base articles.
• Act as a role model for colleagues by providing guidance around technical topics and ensuring the sharing of internal best practices.
• Progress/close incidents to a satisfactory conclusion on the incident management system.

Technical Skills:

• Experience in Security Policies, reporting any potential or actual security events or other security risks to the organisation.
• Experience with Google Meet.

Soft Skills:

• Flexible approach and ability to work cooperatively within a newly created team environment.
• Self-starter with the ability to perform quality assurance and control to create technical deliverables that are error-free with minimal non-functional defects.
• Experience in operationally supporting large, complex technical environments.
• Methodical and structured in their approach to tasks.
• Capability to organise and prioritise tasks.
• Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships and interact with team members.
• Strong organisation and time management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
