Job Opportunity: Bid ManagerLocation: BirminghamSalary: £70,000 DOEHours: 37.5 hours per week
We are seeking a talented and experienced Bid Manager to join our clients dynamic Bid Team in Birmingham. You will oversee the management of bids from PQQ to submission, ensuring high-quality and aesthetically appealing submissions. This role involves collaboration across departments, marketing tasks, and ensuring smooth workflow within the team.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the bid process and allocate projects based on size, design, and workload
- Schedule and coordinate deliverables for bids, managing the tender diary
- Complete PQQs, expressions of interest, and prepare high-quality bids
- Write, edit, and refine questionnaire responses
- Maintain a library of key documents, case studies, and CVs
- Oversee marketing efforts, including maintaining the company website and social media
- Prepare and deliver PowerPoint presentations, including post-tender interviews
- Manage travel and accommodation for team members
- Assist in the preparation of board reports and take meeting minutes
- Supervise Bid Team Assistant and ensure consistent workflow
- Back up for the Bid Team Assistant during absences
- Proficiency in InDesign / Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
