HGV Class 2 Driver (Multi-Drop, Palletized Deliveries)

Pay rate- £14.00ph (£15.76ph incl Hol)

Location: Birmingham, UK

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and reliable HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our team based in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for driving and delivering excellent service in the transport industry. The role involves multi-drop deliveries of palletized goods, with a degree of handball required for unloading. You will be responsible for ensuring deliveries are made safely, efficiently, and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform multi-drop deliveries of palletized goods across the designated routes.
Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely and professional manner.
Load and unload pallets using handball (manual handling).
Complete all required documentation accurately, including delivery notes and logs.
Maintain high levels of customer service at all times, representing the company with professionalism.
Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure the truck is roadworthy and report any issues.
Adhere to health & safety regulations, including compliance with the working time directive and road laws.
Work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring all deadlines and targets are met.

Requirements:

Valid HGV Class 2 licence.
Digital Tachograph Card and Driver CPC qualification.
Experience with multi-drop deliveries and handball.
Good understanding of UK road laws and health & safety regulations.
Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
