About the Role:Hays Education is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Supply Secondary Teachers to join our team in Newcastle. As a Cover Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and maintaining classroom management in the absence of the regular teacher. This role involves covering Key Stage 3 and 4 classes on a day-to-day basis, ensuring continuity of learning for students.
Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons across various subjects for Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
• Follow lesson plans provided by the absent teacher or create your own when necessary.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Provide feedback to the regular teacher on student progress and any issues encountered.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school environments.
• A passion for education and a commitment to student development.
