Your new company
Excellent opportunity to join a leading consultancy with offices across the UK. Based from the office on the Essex/London border, you will be joining a multidisciplinary consultancy with an excellent reputation for delivering high profile projects including leisure, sport, office and historic buildings. This organisation highly values employee well-being and offers hybrid working and flexible working hours. Your new role
As the Building Surveyor you will be joining the specialist dilapidations team. You will prepare schedules of dilapidations, advise on lease obligations and provide strategic advice to clients. This may include negotiating settlement claims with landlords and tenants and procuring works as required. You will also be involved with advising Section 18 Valuations. The organisation is looking to develop the dilapidations offering to clients and therefore you will also be involved in developing client relationships and generating new instructions. This role is offered with hybrid working, with three days in the office or on site and two days from home.
What you'll need to succeed

A desire to develop client relationships and generate new instructions is important. Good IT literacy and communication skills are essential.
