Job Description

As Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a team of 3, overseeing the production of the monthly management accounts and assisting in hands-on duties where required.
  • Analysing customer profitability.
  • Appraising proposals for new business, looking at rewards vs risk.
  • Developing and maintaining business pricing tools.
  • Understanding and managing commercial and financial risks with clients, service providers, partners, and suppliers.
  • Providing input on operations profit improvement plans and the development of costing models.
  • Analysing and reporting on business performance, challenging stakeholders at all levels.

The Successful Applicant

My client is looking for the following:

Qualified / Qualified by Experience.

Experience of managing small teams.

The ability to demonstrate business partnering and adding commercial value in previous roles.

Experience of 3PL / working in the logistics sector would be useful but not essential.

Able to start immediately or up to 1 month's notice maximum.

What's on Offer

Up to £60,000 dependent on experience.
