Forklift and Warehouse Manchinery Operative - 6 Month FTC 34 hours per week - 4 on 2 off shift pattern (07:00am - 14:45pm & 14:15pm - 22:00pm) Location: Worthing 6 Month - FTC Must not be allergic to penicillin
As a Forklift & Warehouse Machinery Operative your main duties will be to operate warehouse manual handling equipment to include high reach and
Counterbalance forklift trucks, trailer tow tractors, ride on and push pallet trucks and pallet inverters to move, load, wrap and safely store palletised products on site. All
activities conducted as part of this service will be carried out in line with the GSK procedures and policies that apply. The main activities are covered in GSK SOP MSP1313: Trailer Service Production Unitsand must always be adhered to.
You will ensure full compliance with GXP operating standards of cleaning, PPE, paperwork and conduct where applicable. To comply with GSK PSOPs for standard working practice and ensure good standards of housekeeping in all areas used by the Distribution and Logistics team. You will also report all damage and maintenance required on equipment to GSK immediately to avoid service disruption.

What you'll need to succeed
- Forklift truck operator certification and experience in a similar role.
- A flexible approach to working environment with a willingness to support working overtime as required and the ability to communicate effectively and foster good working relationships both internally and with clients.
- You will have the ability to perform well under pressure and independent of supervision.
