THE ROLE

Are you the bridge between Business and IT? Do you excel in optimizing engineering processes through innovative applications? If so, we want you! As Functional Application Specialist Teamcenter/ TCRA, you will support the engineering functionalities in our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platform: Teamcenter, with a special focus on the connected Teamcenter Reporting & Analytics application. You will drive efficiency and effectiveness across our engineering processes, making a tangible impact on our projects by providing good service and effective support to all project members working (indirectly) in or with Teamcenter and TCRA.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As our Functional Application Specialist Teamcenter/ TCRA, you will:

• Translate engineering business process needs into functional specifications for the application developments.
• Analyse issues collaboratively with stakeholders and devise solutions.
• Develop and implement application processes and functionalities.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and knowledge partners.
• Manage interfaces between applications and Teamcenter/TCRA.
• Maintain user access rights administration within the application.
• Setup and configure project environments within Teamcenter and TCRA.
• Organize application-related training courses in coordination with the Manager Engineering Support.
• Provide functional support to PLM/CAD users with regards to Teamcenter.
• Prepare and develop Teamcenter/ TCRA training materials, tips, application documentation, and user manuals.
• Develop and maintain specific tools to support special needs for Engineering.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

To excel in this role as Functional Application Specialist Teamcenter/ TCRA, you will need:

• Bachelor degree in engineering, preferably in shipbuilding or mechanical engineering.
• Proficiency with Teamcenter & TCRA applications (software).
• Knowledge of PLM principles and experience with functional application management.
• Excellent command of the English language, with proficiency in Dutch being advantageous.
• Ability to work in Vlissingen and Schiedam locations, in The Netherlands.
• Skilled in working with Microsoft Excel and preferably good knowledge of VBA (coding).
• Excellent references antecedents as a pre-employment security screening is standard part of the recruitment procedure.
• Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required and candidates with NL/EU (work) visa or with both an EU and non-EU nationality and/or passport are not eligible in accordance with the requirements imposed by the military nature of our projects.
