The school is a close-knit and dynamic learning environment and has an inclusive educational institution committed to fostering a love for learning and academic excellence. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join our team and inspire the next generation of geographers. We are open to taking someone on a part-time job with extra days, or it could be a full-time role. We are flexible for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective geography lessons to students of varying abilities.
- Develop and implement curriculum that meets educational standards and school objectives.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for geography.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Organise and supervise field trips and other experimental learning activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Geography or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Teaching certification or qualification.
- Proven experience teaching geography at the secondary school level.
- Strong knowledge of geography curriculum and educational best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
