About Our Client

The organisation is a globally recognised charity based in London. They are looking for a Head of Finance to join their finance team of 20.

Job Description

1. Leading the finance department and overseeing all financial operations.
2. Developing and implementing financial strategies to support the charity's objectives.
3. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
4. Preparing financial reports and statements for the board of trustees.
5. Managing the charity's budget and forecasting financial trends.
6. Collaborating with other departments to align financial strategies with organisational goals.
7. Representing the charity in financial meetings and negotiations.
8. Promoting financial understanding and responsibility across the organisation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Head of Finance' must:

1. Be ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
2. Have Charity/NFP experience.
3. Extensive experience in financial management, particularly within a large international charity.
4. Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing a team.
5. Excellent budgeting and financial reporting skills.
6. Experience in strategic planning and financial forecasting.
7. Strong negotiation skills and a diplomatic approach to financial discussions.
