As a Partner in Business Solution and Business Development Banking, you will play a pivotal role in engaging with customers in the banking industry at the C-Suite level to enhance their bottom line. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will strategically identify technical challenges, understand customer business drivers, and guide appropriate engagement approaches within customer organizations. Collaborating with our team of business specialists, you will co-create new products and solutions to meet our clients' evolving needs while also leading transformation projects in core banking and lending areas.

About the Role:

As the Head of Finance at SAP Fioneer, you will be a key driver of our financial and accounting processes. You will oversee all financial functions, including bookkeeping, accounting, and tax. You will work directly with the CFO and closely with the management team to provide financial insights and recommendations to support our business growth globally and profitability. This high-impact role requires a strategic mindset, strong business acumen, and the ability to navigate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, combined with a hands-on mentality and operational knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the finance function and manage a team of finance professionals.
• Develop and implement global financial processes to drive business growth.
• Oversee financial reporting processes for 21 entities in 17 countries, according to IFRS and Local GAAP.
• Bookkeeping, accounting, and tax management.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to the management team.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiencies and continuous improvement.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance and identify risks and opportunities.
• Opportunity to grow the team in the future; currently more than 30 people globally.

Minimum Requirements:

• 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 5 years in leading teams.
• Strong knowledge of accounting according to IFRS and HGB (local GAAP).
• Experience in the software or service industry is preferred.
• Proven track record of driving financial strategy and performance.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Fluency in English and German.
