Job Description
Role Title: OPS/MVS System Automation Engineer
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 Months
Rate: £400 per day - Umbrella Only
Responsibilities:
- Administer and support the Mainframe System Automation OPS/MVS Broadcom product.
- Deliver automation at the quality and pace warranted by the business.
- Ensuring delivery to the customer while adhering to established global standards and best practice.
- Actively participate in achieving organisational efficiency objectives and undertake analysis on day-to-day work to drive automation on deliveries thereby minimising repetitive and standardised tasks/processes.
- Work closely with the stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver solution as agreed.
Requirements:
- Experience in Mainframe System Automation area.
- Work experience with OPS/MVS product.
- Ability to code / script using OPS/REXX programming language.
- Understanding of GDPS concept in production is preferred.
- Experience of providing production support and troubleshooting for IBMz Mainframe systems.
- Understanding of the Incident, Problem, Change Management processes.
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written English skills.
