Job Title: EducationalPsychologist
Location: Higford School, Shropshire
Contract: Permanent, 41 weeks,Term Time only, (There may be scope for this role to be a full-timecontract (52 weeks) if this is your preference, please get in touchto discuss.)
Hours: 22.5 hours per week, 3 days per week, 08.30am -16.30pm
Salary: Up to£63,840 (FTE, DOE)
Within OFG,Educational Psychologists work with schools to support thedevelopment of therapeutic environments and the implementation ofTrauma Informed and Neurodiversity Affirmingpractice. Our models of service delivery include consultationand reflective practice to school and there are opportunities tocontribute to service wide development groups. Within OFG there isa strong network of Practitioner Psychologists and staff haveaccess to regular clinical supervision outside of linemanagement.
About theRole
You will join ourmulti-disciplinary team of dedicated clinical staff providingpsychological assessment for pupils within the schools, guidancefor education teams and professional development training for allstaff. The role involves communicating with families/ carers andspecialist agencies. You'll work alongside Occupational Therapists,Speech and Language Therapists, Psychotherapists, Psychologists andAssistant Psychologists.
Location:Higford School, Shropshire

Who we're looking for?
We are looking for an Educational Psychologist with amasters or doctoral professional qualification and HCPCregistration. You'll need to be creative and passionate aboutimproving outcomes for pupils with complex needs.
The ideal candidate will be resilient and have experienceof working in with people with complex SEN needs. You'll need to bea good communicator with strong skills in assessment and reportwriting.
KeyAccountabilities:
Provide psychological assessment andintervention for pupils within the schools
Offer guidance for educationteams
To providesupervision to agreed members of the clinicalteam
Communicating withfamilies/ carers and specialist agencies
Engage in professional development training forall staff
Essential Criteria
A doctoral or master's professionalqualification in Educational Psychology
Registered with the HCPC
Creative and passionate about improving outcomesfor pupils
Able to work aspart of a team and be self-reliant
