Job Description

For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $136,000 - $204,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The Secure Power Sustainability Team is looking for a Sustainability Account Development Manager to focus on developing relationships, opportunities, and partnerships with global accounts.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute account specific strategies, leveraging sustainability to

develop/deepen relationships across a wide range of personas, identify opportunities for pursuit by appropriate teams (sales, marketing, etc.)

establish partnerships to better serve shared end-customers, accelerate progress against both companies' sustainability goals, and/or drive industry action

Be a trusted partner to customers by driving creative, intellectual engagements to accelerate their environmental sustainability journey.

Leverage other Schnier Electric SMEs to engage on non-environmental sustainability topics as needed.

  • Collaborate with account leaders to enable sustainability as a key differentiator across the SE portfolio of products, software, services, and solutions, Support account teams in the identification of monetization opportunities. Collaborate/Coordinate with Sustainability Business to help establish and/or grow sustainability consulting services where appropriate.
  • Participate in conferences and/or industry bodies that shape the future of Digital Infrastructure sustainability to deepen SE's leadership & influence in this space.
  • Stay abreast of customers' sustainability innovations & commitments and deliver insights & trends to team leadership.
  • Lead and/or support strategic sprints to advance the wider division strategy

Preferred Professional Experience

  • 4+ years' experience in the Digital Infrastructure Industry (Data Centers, Distributed IT, etc.), including 2+ years in a sustainability related role.
  • Experience with implementing solutions that advance sustainability across the data center lifecycle, from design/build through end of life. Areas of experience that would be valuable include renewable energy procurement, onsite energy solutions/microgrids, embodied carbon analysis, data center equipment efficiency, and software monitoring and controls, and sustainability strategy / goal setting / reporting.

Key skills

  • Strong knowledge in the environmental impacts of digital infrastructure, including efficiency, GHG emissions, and water. Waste, circularity, and biodiversity a strong plus.
  • Strong leadership, excellent communication, and proven influencing skills
  • Be bold in actions, but also willing to experiment with new approaches to find solutions
  • Dedicated to drive change, bend innovation, and explore new grounds
  • Passion for accelerating digital infrastructure's crucial role in curbing climate change
  • English fluency is a must.

Education

  • Preference for a degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related fields
