About the role

As aSEN Teacher, you will take a creative approach to teaching pupilsaccording to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of theschool curriculum in a way that maximises pupil's achievement andability to develop.

This is a great opportunityfor a Teacher with SEMH experience who wants to spend less time onpaperwork and more time developing creative learning opportunitiesfor pupils with varied and complex needs. Your work will bechallenging and rewarding in equal measure and you will be workingin a school where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, wherepupils are listened to, respected and involved in as many decisionsas possible.

When it comes to looking after ourpupils, we never settle for second best. We are looking for a ClassTeacher experienced with SEMH in teaching a range of subjects andwho shares our vision to build incredible futures by empoweringvulnerable young people in the UK to be happy and to make their wayin the world.

Experience of working in theindependent SEMH sector and with pupils with SEN would be anadvantage. This role will be based at our Cotswold Lodge siteworking with a small group of pupils. Please contact theHeadteacher for more details. Visits to the school areencouraged.

The successful candidate must befamiliar with and happy to adopt a therapeutic approach to teachingand working with SEN/SEMH pupils. Educated to degree leveland Qualified Teacher Status, you will be calm, engaging,resilient, and have an innovative style of teaching, motivated byhelping every pupil to reach their potential.
