As a Senior Product Manager for Hardware (all genders), you will be working on products that redefine how parking spaces are managed. Here at Wemolo, you'll work with the latest AI technologies, combined with custom hardware and powerful software. With your expertise in product management, hardware, and your analytical approach, you'll help strengthen our position as a market leader, while achieving new successes alongside our excellent team.
- Spearhead the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of core hardware products, including scanners and terminals.
- Lead innovation to enhance performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
- Drive discovery and implementation of improvements for secondary hardware, such as welcome screens and access controls. Ensure seamless integration into the broader product ecosystem.
- Develop and maintain mid- and long-term hardware roadmaps aligned with company goals and market trends.
- Communicate a cohesive hardware strategy that supports overall business objectives.
- Conduct user research to deeply understand customer needs and make data-driven decisions for new hardware features.
- Collaborate with UI/UX teams in designing and planning new product features.
- Plan new technical hardware features, manage the product backlog, and work closely with hardware engineers.
- Ensure internal documentation is up-to-date and communicate release plans to relevant stakeholders.
- Implement robust monitoring systems, track KPIs, and use data-driven insights for continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with existing and new suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders to gather feedback and drive improvements.
- Background: Extensive experience in technical product management, particularly with hardware products, in dynamic environments or startups.
- Education: Degree in engineering, technical product development, computer science, or a related field.
- Excellence: Highly motivated to contribute to the company's success, maintain high standards, and work in a results-driven manner.
- Substantial experience with IoT and hardware.
- Ability to balance technical feasibility with business goals to deliver innovative solutions.
- Experience with CAD software, hardware compliance & certifications, and communication technologies (e.g., RFID, BLE).
- Ideally, experience with IoT platforms (e.g., AWS IoT, Balena), IoT protocols (e.g., MQTT), and hardware-software integration.
- Experience working on firmware, embedded systems, and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Proficient in data analysis and interpretation to inform product decisions.
- Experience with tools like SQL, Metabase, or other analytics platforms to extract, analyze, and present insights.

- Attention to Detail: Organized, structured thinker who pays close attention to detail without losing focus on the bigger picture.
- Strengths: Adaptable, capable of prioritizing tasks, and able to handle changing conditions without losing focus.
- Language Skills: Strong communicator. Strong written and spoken English (level C1 on the CEFR scale). German is a huge plus.
