Description

1. Lead internal credit screening and credit application processes.
2. Prepare screening committee memos, credit applications, and discuss transactions with credit and capital markets departments to achieve required approvals in a timely manner.
3. Support the legal work stream.
4. Supervise/monitor internal & back office processes surrounding transaction execution, including internal rating process, KYC, setup of back office systems for transaction bookings and funding processes.
5. Prepare presentations/pitch books for client calls and meetings.
6. Work closely with the capital markets teams during execution of physical bookrunner roles.
7. Support the development of junior team members.
8. Demonstrate the ability to take ownership of specific LBO deals and other sponsor-facing products.
9. Develop and create relationships with individuals in sponsor client and create repeat business.

Profile

1. Strong financial services track record essential.
2. Background in origination-focused leveraged finance teams essential.
3. Strong credit and analytical skills essential.
4. Prior experience of managing/owning sponsor client relationships will be key.
5. Team/people management experience beneficial.
