On this three-week course from Accenture, you’ll learn what UX is and why it’s so important. You’ll learn the basics of UX design and what good usability means to both designers and users.

What is a UX designer?

You’ll begin the course examining what user experience means and how it’s integral to creating high-quality products.

Using this knowledge, you’ll then investigate a day in the life of a junior UX designer, giving you useful insights into the expectations of the role.

With this knowledge, you’ll be able to assess your suitability for a career in UX and identify any skill gaps you may need to develop further.

Examine the basics of UX, from user research to experience design

Using videos, quizzes, and interactive discussions, you’ll learn the value of user research in the design phase and explore techniques for gathering meaningful data about your focus groups and stakeholders.

You’ll then delve into the fundamentals of experience design, charting user journeys and gaining an overview of visual design, site structure, and prototyping.
