3D-ICT - Functional Analyst

Responsibilities in functional analysis:
Translates business requirements into functional requirements, containing acceptance criteria

• Defines functional specifications (front-end + middle-layer)
• Ensures quality assurance of the final product by conducting tests and validations
• Provides support during the implementation of the solution
• Coordinates and communicates with stakeholders to ensure the solution meets the client's requirement
• Communicates in a clear, concise manner (both in analysis and via other channels)

Profile

• Completed degree in computer science or a similar field
• At least 5 years of experience as a Business/Functional Analyst
• Fluent in English and either Dutch or French, both orally and written.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience in analyzing business processes and systems
• Ability question requirements in a healthily critical way and record a supported conclusion
• Experience in drafting functional specifications and defining requirements
• Will work (at least) 2 days in the offices

Plus

• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Knowledge of project management methodologies
• Experience in using data to make decisions and solve problems

Conformity criteria

• Language skills - Dutch and/or French (with a good knowledge of the other) + English (mandate)
• 5 or more years of experience in functional/business analysis
• Profound knowledge BPMN and/or UML
• On-shore, i.e. based in Belgium
