ABAKUS IT-Solutions - Application Security Engineer

We are looking for an Application Security Engineer to join the Application Security & Vulnerability Management team. You will be responsible for enhancing application security, supporting secure development practices, and driving security innovation within the development squads.

Responsibilities

• Set up application security tools and conduct code reviews (SAST)
• Provide coaching and training on secure coding practices and SecDevOps principles
• Manage security infrastructure and compliance guidelines
• Lead security efforts in projects, resolving issues and improving security measures
• Assist developers in identifying and solving security vulnerabilities

Required skills & experience

• Strong background in software development and security tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Maven, Docker)
• Knowledge of SDLC, DevOps, and secure coding practices
• Interest in penetration testing and mobile app security
• Experience in application security and security incident management
• English proficiency required; Dutch/French is a plus
