Your key responsibilities
As an Enterprise Architect, you will:
- Translate Strategy: Analyze corporate goals and craft IT roadmaps, portfolio strategies, and business capability MAPS.
- Design and Architecture: Define architecture and functional designs to support business objectives.
- Facilitate Communication: Act as a bridge between business and IT teams, articulating application strategies clearly.
- Analyze and Evaluate: Gather business and IT requirements through surveys and leverage frameworks like Atam and Cbam to provide recommendations.
- Optimize Applications: Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain application portfolios and create enriched as-is MAPS of application, technology, and data layers.
- Decision Repository: Maintain a robust repository of architectural decisions.
- Strategic Alignment: Build and refine enterprise-wide IT roadmaps that reflect initiatives, projects, and interdependencies.
- Process Integration: Seamlessly integrate architecture processes with IT project and service management workflows.
What we're looking for
To succeed in this role, you bring:
- Experience: At least 10 years in Enterprise Architecture.
- Expertise: Proficiency in IT processes, methodologies, and frameworks (e.g., ITIL, Togaf, ArchiMate).
- Cloud and MicroServices: Hands-on knowledge of cloud-native patterns, MicroServices, and event-driven architectures.
- Tool Mastery: Experience with modeling tools such as SparX Enterprise Architect.
- Advocacy Skills: Ability to promote and implement reference architectures.
- Collaboration: A team player with exceptional presentation and collaboration skills.
- Industry Insight: Familiarity with frameworks like Gartner's Time for APM.
- Bonus Points:
- Experience with mergers and organizational transformations.
- Real-world exposure to Agile IT product design and delivery.
- Multilingual skills, particularly in German.
