Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accessibility Consultant with extensive years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Accessibility Tools, Accessibility Testing, Accessibility Consulting, and Accessibility Remediation. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can ensure our products are accessible to all users, enhancing our commitment to inclusivity.
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of accessibility strategies to ensure compliance with accessibility standards.
- Oversee the use of accessibility tools to evaluate and improve the accessibility of our digital products.
- Provide expert consulting services to internal teams on best practices for accessibility.
- Conduct thorough accessibility testing to identify and address potential accessibility barriers.
- Collaborate with design and development teams to remediate accessibility issues in a timely manner.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate staff on accessibility requirements and best practices.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of accessibility initiatives and make recommendations for improvements.
- Stay up to date with the latest accessibility trends, tools, and technologies to ensure our practices remain current.
- Advocate for accessibility within the organization and promote a culture of inclusivity.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure accessibility is integrated into all stages of product development.
- Provide detailed documentation and reports on accessibility compliance and remediation efforts.
- Support the creation of accessible content and user interfaces that enhance the user experience for all individuals.
- Ensure that all digital products meet or exceed industry accessibility standards and guidelines.
