Job Description

Accident & Health Broker - City of London (Hybrid)

We are seeking an experienced Accident & Health Broker to join a leading specialist insurance brokerage based in the City of London. This is a hybrid role, offering a mix of office and remote working. The role provides significant international exposure, including business across the US and North America.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Structuring, negotiating, and placing Accident & Health (A&H) insurance solutions across a diverse client portfolio, including large multinational clients.

  • Specialising in key subclasses of A&H business, such as:

    • Personal Accident & Illness
    • Travel Insurance
    • Sports & Entertainment Risks
    • Disability Insurance
    • Group & Voluntary Benefits
    • Occupational & High-Risk Covers

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, insurers, and underwriters across the London and international markets.

  • Managing renewals, endorsements, and claims support while ensuring the highest level of client service.

  • Identifying opportunities to expand the A&H book through cross-selling and new business development.

  • Keeping up to date with market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks, particularly in North American and international markets.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in A&H insurance, with expertise in Personal Accident and related subclasses.

  • Established relationships with key underwriters and insurers in the London and international markets.

  • Experience handling international risks, including exposure to US and North American clients.

  • Ability to develop bespoke insurance solutions tailored to client needs.

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.

  • Cert CII (or working towards CII qualifications) is desirable.
