Account Manager - London

NG Bailey is looking for an experienced and driven Account Manager to take ownership of our high-profile Nomura International PLC contract. This is an opportunity to lead from the front, oversee critical engineering services, and shape the future of a key client partnership.

As the primary point of contact, you will be responsible for P&L management, operational excellence, and business development, ensuring that all planned and reactive maintenance services are delivered to the highest standard.

Some of the key deliverables in this role will include:

1. Own & Develop the Client Relationship - Foster a "one-team" approach to service delivery.
2. Drive Operational Excellence - Ensure best-in-class engineering services that exceed SLA and KPI targets.
3. Financial & P&L Management - Deliver cost-effective solutions while maintaining outstanding customer satisfaction.
4. Technical & Engineering Leadership - Provide expert solutions, oversee remedial works, and drive innovation.
5. Project Oversight - Lead and coordinate all site activity, audits, and inspections to maintain top-tier service.
6. Manage Supplier Performance - Ensure third-party contractors adhere to strict safety, quality, and compliance standards.

What we're looking for:

1. Experience: M&E operations experience, with previous experience in a supervisory or management role.
2. Technical Skills: Recognised apprenticeship/training in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) services, backed by industry qualifications.
3. Financial Acumen: Proven ability to manage budgets and deliver cost-effective solutions.
4. Leadership: A proactive leader with experience managing multidisciplinary teams and third-party suppliers.
5. Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with statutory and legislative requirements, with IOSH/NEBOSH qualifications desirable.
6. Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and build strong relationships at all levels.
