Job Description
Account Manager: Contract 9 Months

The Account Management (AM) team is responsible for accelerating sales growth, expanding selection on the platform, and improving retention among the existing Seller base, particularly the largest Sellers in the IN Marketplace. This team creates innovative ways to identify new selection, merchandising, and operational improvement opportunities through partnership with internal stakeholders and enhancing our overall knowledge of how to succeed as a Seller on Amazon Marketplaces.

We are looking for an Account Manager to help shape the future of IN Books. The role focuses on driving success for Sellers in the IN Marketplace and leveraging key learning and feedback to improve the Amazon platform for all Sellers.

Role and Responsibilities:
  1. Managing the seller relationship by championing the seller's needs at Amazon. Building strong communication channels at all levels of the seller's organization, setting proper expectations, providing clear status updates, and managing towards a growth plan.
  2. Managing and driving the growth of the seller's business: Building and executing a strategic account plan that delivers on key business opportunities for both the seller and Amazon.
  3. Managing key improvement initiatives and projects: Driving new product launches and relationship extensions by partnering with the business development and onboarding teams.
  4. Working with sellers to improve operational aspects of their business to provide a great consumer experience.
  5. Analyzing the business: Conducting deep dive analyses and providing routine executive-level reports on the seller's current business and future opportunities. Publishing recommendations and action plans based on data.
Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Scaling up of Managed Sellers
  • Program management of assigned charters
  • Close coordination of internal stakeholders
  • Working on WBR, MBR, QBR
Minimum Requirements:
  • 3+ years of sales experience
  • Experience analyzing data and applying best practices to assess performance drivers
  • Experience meeting revenue targets and quotas
  • Experience in e-commerce
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional organization
