Job Description
FLOWERBX is on the lookout for a skilled and creative individual with a background in sales and client management to join our B2B team. In this role, you will serve as the primary contact and manage our flower shop portfolio located in exquisite 5-star hotel locations across London.
Main Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue opportunities for new business and account growth, contributing to the overall success of the organisation.
- Provide outstanding customer service by promptly addressing issues, resolving them efficiently, and escalating when necessary.
- Leverage strong relationship-building skills to work closely with hotel partners, understanding their preferences and needs to consistently exceed expectations.
- Collaborate with shop teams to ensure each setting embodies the FLOWERBX aesthetic, delivering a consistent, luxurious, and high-end experience.
- Oversee the logistics, inventory and ordering of flowers and materials, ensuring adherence to quality, sustainability, and brand standards.
- Manage administrative and organisational tasks, including team schedules and coordinating orders.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to understand client needs, product specifications, and seasonal trends, developing high-quality proposals and tracking their progress and success.
- Implement contracts, manage events, and coordinate on-site installations.
- Carry out administrative tasks including client invoicing and budget reconciliation.
- Support the B2B and Operations teams with various additional responsibilities as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in client-facing account management, preferably with a background in weddings, luxury events, or hospitality.
- A commercially-focused, creative individual eager to expand their knowledge of flowers and plants.
- While floristry experience is preferred, it is not a requirement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive, motivated individual with an enthusiastic approach.
- Capable of taking ownership, organizing, and prioritizing tasks effectively.
- A problem solver who is adaptable to change and able to execute tasks swiftly.
- A strong sense of urgency coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
- A willingness to thrive in a high-demand, fast-paced work environment.
- A collaborative team player who enjoys engaging with others and fostering internal and external relationships.
- A positive attitude and a passion for sustainability and floral artistry.
This is a full-time hybrid position that requires working from the flower shops and our studio in NW10, as needed.
