Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team or our Enhanced Access service.

This is a position to work on a Saturday only, within the Enhanced Access clinic.

There is the possibility for additional hours to be offered within Enhanced Access Monday - Friday between the hours of 6.30pm - 8pm.

This role could be based at one of 2 sites, which are

  • The Centre Surgery, Hinckley Health Centre, Hill Street, Hinckley, LE10 1DS
  • Newbold Verdon Medical Practice, St. George Close, Newbold Verdon, LE9 9PZ

The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients' health concerns. This role requires a thorough understanding of anatomy and the ability to administer medications safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and health histories.
  • Develop and implement personalised care plans based on patient needs and medical history.
  • Administer medications as required
  • Provide education to patients and their families regarding health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Stay informed about advancements in medical practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Requirements

  • Valid Nurse Practitioner licence in accordance with local regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology.
  • Proven experience in patient care within a clinical setting is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in clinical documentation.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Pay: £62,484.00-£72,865.00 per year
