How will you make an impact in this role?

American Express International Card Services (ICS) is a leading issuer and provider of Consumer and Commercial products and services across many countries around the world. The ICS Lending Center of Excellence (COE) team vision is to ensure each customer has access to flexible payment options, relevant rewards, and the powerful backing of American Express.

As we continue growing our customer base, ICS Lending must ensure our customers and shareholders can realize maximum value. To support this agenda, we are seeking a colleague that can collaborate with multiple partners across numerous business units, functional areas, and geographies to:

  1. Manage pricing governance processes such as Annual fee validation and Cost Justification exercise etc.
  2. Facilitate the review of pricing practices to identify discrepancies and monitor pricing strategy for effectiveness.
  3. Manage the introduction of new pricing policies or changes and guiding market and central partners through changes in pricing governance.
  4. Support effectively across Pricing Steering Committee (PSC), Product Pricing Committee Review (PPCR), Stage Gate and other applicable functions to ensure submissions can be managed within allocated timelines.
  5. Conduct periodic quality control checks to ensure operational excellence.
  6. Utilize strong quantitative and analytics acumen to support decision-making rigor.
  7. Support issue management to strengthen controls across ICS Lending products.
  8. Provide actionable insights highlighting testing outcomes, business risks, and recommendations to further strengthen our processes.
  9. Bring international experience, a customer-first approach, and collaborate with multiple functions to enable strong partnerships.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. University Degree with majors in finance, economics, business management, decision sciences, or actuarial sciences or equivalent working experience required.
  2. Proven working experience in a high-growth product, project management or risk management team.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Solid understanding of the economics of lending products and key levers of profitability with strong analytical skills.
  2. Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
  3. Proactive and driven individual with an eye for detail.
  4. Proficiency in SQL or Python is a good to have.
  5. Ability to clearly document processes in a way that has an audit trail available.
