Analytical Scientist - Technical Development

Analytical Scientist - Technical Development vacancy for a globally operating Basel based company in the Pharma sector.

Your tasks:

• Designing, planning, and executing scientific experiments for drug substance and drug product development
• Writing and reviewing analytical documents, including procedures, specifications, validation reports, and stability protocols
• Managing interactions with internal and external stakeholders, including oversight of CRO activities
• Identifying and addressing scientific, technological, and GMP challenges with innovative solutions
• Ensuring timely flow of materials, raw data, and results for stability and release testing
• Adhering to SOPs, GMP, Quality Directives, and Health & Safety guidelines

Your experience/knowledge:

• 3+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a proven track record in GMP activities for both development and marketed products
• Extensive scientific knowledge in chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, or analytical sciences, with the ability to operate effectively in a global and highly dynamic environment
• Advanced expertise in analytical techniques and related processes, including HPLC and Chromatographic Data Systems, dissolution rate testing, quality management systems, and statistical evaluation tools
• Strong presentation skills, along with proficiency in scientific and technical writing, supported by relevant IT tools
• University degree in analytical chemistry or equivalent with significant experience in analytical development of drugs
• Language skills: English - fluent, German is advantageous
