Application Engineer (Manufacturing industry)

Responsibilities:
- To provide application engineering support within a manufacturing environment to the UK and Benelux regions, collaborating with the technical team to expertly address customer queries.
- To enhance the customer technical support experience by proactively addressing the customer's needs regarding cost, timing, quality, and key issues.
- To act as a technical liaison between the company, sales partners, and both new and existing customers, ensuring that all clients receive outstanding support for their technical questions and issues.
- To foster positive relationships and enhance customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
- To cultivate an understanding of the dynamic UK and Benelux CAD/CAM market, embracing the technology, navigating the competition, and seizing the opportunities ahead.
- To enhance support for existing customers, conduct on-site visits, and offer assistance with applications programming.
- To create and facilitate training sessions that empower both prospective and existing customers, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills they need to succeed.
- To effectively program, operate, and maintain machine tools, providing valuable support to both prospective and existing customers.
- To visit customers within the UK and Benelux region.
Candidate's Profile:
- Excellent working knowledge of CAD/CAM programming software required.
- Background working within a manufacturing environment needed.
- Experience as an Applications Engineer beneficial.
- Troubleshooting, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Must be able to travel 50% of the time.
- Professional and positive approach to developing and maintaining relationships.
