Application Support Specialist - Global Program - Long Term Contract

We are looking for a talented Application Support Specialist to join our customer on a full-time, freelance basis and work on a project with significant impact across Europe.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive application support to ensure that their systems run smoothly and efficiently. You will handle the resolution of incidents, develop sustainable solutions or workarounds, and create problem reports or change requests as needed. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in documenting solutions and contributing to knowledge management to enhance processes and prevent future issues.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in Java for application troubleshooting and development. Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana and the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) is essential, along with a solid understanding of ITIL practices, particularly in incident, problem, and change management. You should also possess excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to service improvement.
