We are looking for an Area Delivery Leader to head our ProServe Korea Shared Delivery Team (SDT). This leader will oversee the delivery of cloud transformation programs across our largest and most strategic enterprise customers. The role involves hiring and developing bar raising talent, building effective partner delivery capacity, and engaging with C-Level executives to provide thought leadership. Additionally, the leader will support pre-sales activities, guide ongoing projects, and ensure delivery consistently exceeds customer expectations.
The ideal candidate is an experienced people leader with technical expertise, a background in IT and/or Management Consulting/Services, and proven experience in Strategic Engagement Delivery, Workforce Planning, and Partner Management. The successful candidate should excel in an agile, fast-paced, growth environment, maintain exceptionally high standards, and demonstrate the ability to dive deep to deliver results.
This position is based in Seoul, Korea, with occasional travel requirements. The role reports directly to the APJ ProServe Delivery Director and partners with the local Korea ProServe Leader to guide a team of Delivery Practice Managers and Delivery Specialists.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead and grow specialized technical AWS cloud teams across multiple domains including AI/ML, Data Analytics, Application Development, Security, Infrastructure, and Cloud Migration
- Manage the successful implementation of diverse cloud programs (50+ concurrent engagements)
- Build and develop strategic delivery partnerships to scale specialist capabilities and capacity
- Drive collaboration with local, regional, and global AWS teams to design and implement cloud solutions
- Establish and optimize mechanisms to enhance delivery quality and consultant productivity
- Oversee customer feedback processes, implement corrective actions, and ensure continuous improvement through lessons learned

This is a customer-facing role. You will be required to travel to client locations and deliver professional services as needed.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest-growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers, including the public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven track record in leading technical teams through successful cloud migrations and transformations
- Demonstrated experience in building and scaling technical or consulting teams (100+ members)
- Extensive experience leading delivery teams in IT service management and/or cloud computing
- Deep technical knowledge and credibility in architecting complex transformation programs
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in enterprise IT consulting and delivery with global organizations
- Demonstrated success in scaling teams, processes, and capabilities in high-growth environments
- Background in organizations focused on product/platform development and sales
- Ability to drive efficiency through implementing repeatable solutions across diverse businesses
