Job Description

Our client is seeking an ambitious and forward-thinking Assistant Manager to join their Executive Compensation Services team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a specialist area, managing a diverse portfolio of fund and incentive structures while mentoring and developing team members. The position involves liaising with key clients, overseeing daily administration, and driving operational excellence. Hybrid working arrangements are available, with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week.

Job Duties:

  1. Manage a diverse portfolio of structures, ensuring adherence to internal policies and procedures.
  2. Lead client transactions independently, liaising with third-party advisors and business partners.
  3. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, supporting their professional development.
  4. Communicate openly and effectively with clients on a regular basis.
  5. Oversee and review the workload of team administrators, reporting to senior management.
  6. Assist with performance appraisals, objective setting, and staff training.
  7. Take on additional responsibilities and administrative tasks as required.
  8. Support business development initiatives and onboarding processes where applicable.

Job Requirements:

  1. Working towards or holding a professional qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, ICSA, STEP).
  2. Experience in fund administration or a strong background in incentive structures.
  3. Strong understanding of local legislation and corporate governance requirements.
  4. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  5. Ability to work effectively within a team and mentor junior staff members.
  6. Strong Microsoft Office 365 skills, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  7. Proactive approach to staying updated on industry developments.
  8. A commitment to professional growth, with an ambition to become an expert in incentive schemes.
