Investment Services Private Market Department ("ISPVM"): The ISPVM Department is responsible for investment services for the private market across the GIC group, including deal structuring, portfolio monitoring, valuation, and investment operations.
Multi-Strategies Transaction Management: The Multi-Strategies Transaction Management team provides investment deal closing support across private markets investment strategies.
Role Overview: The Transaction Manager works with investment and functional teams to ensure smooth and timely closings of private investments, involving communication with stakeholders and managing operational tasks.
What Impact can you make in this role? You will provide transaction management and deal finance specialist services across various private market investments in Europe.
Responsibilities:
- Lead as deal execution point of contact with external and internal counterparties.
- Ensure accurate and timely exchange of documentation and funding for new investments.
- Partner with investment, operations, tax, and legal teams for efficient deal closings.
- Administer concurrent deal closings across multiple asset classes.
- Serve as a resource for investment process and compliance policy queries.
- Collaborate with the Private Equity and Real Estate Transaction Management team.
- Identify gaps in workflow and drive operational process improvements.
Deal Finance Services:
- Provide deal finance advisory and implement deal initiatives.
- Advise on operational feasibility and manage work streams during investments/divestments.
- Implement efficient operating models across various jurisdictions in Europe.
- Preserve deal value at the post-closing stage.
Requirements:
- Degree in accounting & finance, business, or related fields with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Ideally a qualified accountant with Big 4 training.
- Knowledge of private sector investing and deal execution preferred.
- Detail-oriented analytical thinker with problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- An inquisitive self-starter able to work in a fast-paced environment.
